Juniper & Clove
Juniper is used as a disinfectant, and is great for cuts and scrapes.
Clove is a wonderful deterrent for fleas and ticks, and also helps to protects against worms (which are caused by flea larvae).
Lemongrass & Patchouli
Lemongrass is a great topical antibiotic and antifungal. It is also a mild insect deterrent (protects against mosquitoes and flies). It also has many stress-reducing properties.
Patchouli works as an anti-depressant, anti-fungal, deodorant, fungicide, sedative, and tonic. Patchouli also works for tissue regeneration.
Almond & Oatmeal
Almond is rich in Vitamins E & D. It’s great for dry skin, but it also helps to sooth rashes and irritation.
Oatmeal is wonderful for itch and irritation relief. It’s especially effective on bug bites and poisonous plants.
Spruce & Patchouli
Spruce possesses meditative qualities. Its scent is very relaxing and calming.
Patchouli works as an anti-depressant, anti-fungal, deodorant, fungicide, sedative, and tonic. Patchouli also works for tissue regeneration.
Lavender & Tea Tree Oil
Lavender is used primarily for healing burns, sunburns, and some infected wounds.
Tea Tree Oil is used topically to disinfect scrapes and surface wounds. It can also be used externally to kill foot-related fungi, particularly athlete’s foot and toenail fungus.
Paw Butter
Wonderful for cuts and scrapes, and even just mild irritation. This was originally created as a balm for sunburn, but was found to do wonders for dogs. I use it regularly on my dog’s pads if he’s played too rough on concrete or if his pads seem a little irritated. While the tin may seem small, just a little butter goes quite far. It’s also a great deterrent for dogs who lick.
