Training
At Impawsible Pups we strive to create a better, healthier relationship between dog and owner. Our dog training focuses around creating clear communication with your dog while also guiding your daily life habits to strengthen your bond and show your dog how to constructively coexist in your family’s home. We have a variety of course options to fit each individual’s needs. Sleep Away Camp
With this board and train course your dog will stay with the professionals at Impawsible Pups while we take your dog through the beginning, intermediate, and advanced stages of training. During training you will receive regular video updates as well as a private one-on-one instruction with our certified trainer at the completion of training to help you learn how to work with and properly reinforce your dog’s newly learned behaviors.
Every day during your dog’s stay is spent receiving one on one attention from our trainer and staff while being provided proper socialization and mental stimulation. During this time, daily routines are established and new habits and relationships are set in place.
Since consistency is often the hardest part of training, the Sleep Away Camp takes the worry out of training by allowing for consistent commands, timing, practice and routine.

Train While You Work
This daily training course allows your dog to spend a productive day out of the house, making new friends and learning with their trainer, while you are away at work. In this program, your dog will learn everything that the Sleep Away Camp has to offer, while still being able to spend each evening and weekend with your exercised, better behaved pup!
At the end of training, you will receive a private lesson to teach you everything your dog has learned during training.

Socialization and Training Classes
Puppy Camp
Puppies have a lot to learn. The world is a big, scary place and there’s so much to take in. From meeting new people and animals to figuring out how to climb stairs, being a puppy is hard. Of course, puppies’ owners also have a lot to learn! Our puppy training program is designed with new puppies in mind. We’ll address the new stuff, so you can just enjoy your pup. This week-long course covers group play, handling, new surfaces, and light grooming. Let your pup come home tired from a day of both education and play
- Age: 12-16 weeks
- Length: 1 week (Monday-Friday)
- Fee: $250
S.T.A.R. Puppy Group Class
This AKC-certified group class is a great way to get your pup off to a good start. This class focuses on all the life skills your pup will need moving forward and is a great resource for new dog owners. Over the course of 6 weeks, we will focus on basic obedience skills, such as sit, down, and come as well as preparing for the vet, basic grooming, and beginner, appropriate socialization skills, and at the end of this course you and your pup will be prepared to take the Canine Good Citizen test. As a bonus, you’ll also have the opportunity to meet other like-minded puppy owners and make new friends!
- Age: 12 weeks to 6 months
- Length: 6 weeks (one night per week)
- Fee: $150
- Next start date: March 4, 2024 (no class on April 1)
What’s included in your course
Two week courses
- Focuses on fundamental behaviors and commands such as sit, down, stay, out/leave it, leash walking, place, crate manners, stopping jumping, proper greetings, and long line recalls.
- Daily outings and playtimes including group play (if applicable), interactive games, and field trips to work through real life scenarios.
- Your dog will receive regular picture and video updates, and any questions may be answered as asked.
- Initial final lesson together with a complementary follow up session. Additional follow up sessions are discounted.
Four week courses
- Focuses on fundamental behaviors as well as off leash heeling and a reliable recall.
- Addresses most behavioral issues including leash reactivity, separation anxiety, over-excited greetings, pulling, resource guarding, and more.
- Daily outings, playtimes, and interactive play with field trips out in real life scenarios.
- Off leash outings to nearby parks.
- Your dog will receive regular photo and video updates as well as mini video instructions on what to do at home to improve the relationship with your dog.
- Initial lesson together with TWO complementary follow up sessions.
- Prong collar (if applicable), ecollar, and complementary place cot come with this course.
Six week courses
- This include all of the above that is included in our four week programs, but is designed for the dogs that really just need more time to adjust or for those with trickier behavioral modification needs.
- Life time complementary follow up sessions.
- Prong collar (if applicable), e-collar, and complementary place cot come with this course.
Puppy camp
- Daily picture and video updates
- Written recap of what your puppy enjoyed throughout their day and week.
- Daily exposure to new stimuli and environments.
- Introduction to reward words and commands.
- Proper socialization habits.
- Introduction to grooming and handling.
- Crate games and manners.
- Interactive games.
